Anna and Blair had a great time last night carving pumpkins. Anna designed the faces and Blair cut them out (I didn't think it was wise to let Anna wield a knife just yet). Nathan ran around the kitchen playing. He was a big help.

The Marina

There is a park in our neighborhood with a little lake, and everyone calls it the marina. Here are a few pictures of the kids playing there the other day.

First Snow of the Season

Yes, it is here. For those of us who live in the north, the beginning of October does not mean nice crisp fall days. No, it means 30 degrees and SNOW!! The kids seem to love it though, so I guess they won't mind living up here permanently. For me, on the other hand, the jury is still out on how I feel about it. :)
