Hats

When I went into Nathan's room today, he was wearing this hat. Anna thought it was cool, so she went and put her hat on too. Funny kids! :)

Texas Trip

The Texas Flag - The only state flag that can fly as high as the U.S. flag because Texas was once it's own republic.

Frog Eye Salad, a birthday tradition

Last weekend my parents took all of us down to Texas for a visit. We had so much fun!! Since we grew up in Texas, we all have a special connection to the state. We toured downtown Houston, went to our old childhood neighborhood, ate real Texas barbecue and Blue Bell ice cream, and went to a Texas Aggie football game (see post below). When we got home on Monday we were completely exhausted, and it was totally worth it!!! :)

Fightin' Texas Aggie Band

The Group (It's a little dark, and I will repost when I fix it.)

On Saturday we went to a Texas A&M game against Texas Tech. Aggie Football games are fun because they have so many traditions! The Fightin' Texas Aggie Band is a military band, and they are unlike any marching band I have ever seen. They are awesome!! Oh, and we won the game 45-27! Whoop!!!

Halloween 2010

Over Halloween weekend we went to Texas to visit my sister and to go to a Texas A&M football game. On Friday night we took the kids to the Trunk or Treat at my sister's church. They ate pizza, played games, went on a hayride, and got tons of candy!
