Just Cute

The other day the city was working on a pipeline in front of the house, and Anna and Nathan thought their truck was the coolest thing ever. They stood in front of the window and watched forever!

Mom's Birthday

This week is my mom's birthday, and Blair made her one of his specialty cakes. For those of you who have never had the opportunity to try Blue Bell ice cream, you have no idea what you're missing. It is our family's favorite ice cream, but you can't buy it in Utah. So we made my mom a Blue Bell Ice Cream cake (without the actual Blue Bell, unfortunately...)

Sprinkler Fun

Since the weather has been so nice here even into September, the kids have been able to play outside a lot. They started off in the ditch in front of the house and later moved on to the sprinkler.

We love corn toss!

For Labor Day we went to South Fork Park in Provo Canyon for a picnic and games. Our new favorite game is called corn toss. You basically throw beanbags (filled with corn instead of beans) at boards and try to get them into the hole. It's actually very addicting, and very competetive!

Go Cougars!!

As a joke to my parents (who are not BYU fans, to put it lightly), Blair mowed a huge BYU in their back lawn and a big Y in the front. He still hasn't heard the end of it, and we fear we will be seeing payback soon! (This picture was taken from the second-story roof, and we still couldn't get the whole thing in!)

During the summer my parent's town has a Farmers Market and Concert in the Park every Thursday. Since the summer weather is so nice here, it is nice to be outdoors a lot. The kids love to play in the park, and we have fun listening to live music, shopping for fresh fruits and veggies, and eating barbecue and homemade funnel cakes with peaches and cream!
