"F is for Fall"

Batman (Tayven), Transformer (Jayden), Fred from Scooby Doo (David), Giraffe (Anna), and Fancy Nancy (Celeste)

A few of the girls in my neighborhood and I are doing a preschool this year for our 3 and 4-year-olds. We rotate every week, and I landed on Halloween week! I had the kids come in their costumes. The letter this week was F, so we did "F is for Fall" and Frankenstein worksheets. They had french fries and fruit for a snack, and their treat bags had fish, frogs, feet, fingers, and fruit snacks. We also talked about family, friends, and having fun!

Carving Pumpkins

For family night on Monday we carved pumpkins. The kids had a blast and even designed their own faces! Anna did hers completely by herself, as you can see above. Hers is on the right. Nathan had a little help with his. :)

More Sleeping Arrangements

Yes, you guessed it. This is how we found Nate the other night when we checked on him!! :)

Make a Scary Face!

I told everyone to make a scary face, and this is what I got. At least one of my children listens! :)

Big Boy Bed

Last week Nathan moved out of his crib and into a big boy bed. This is how the first night went. The second picture is a pile of wipes that he unloaded onto his bed. That exhausted him so much that he fell asleep on the end of the bed. A few days later he got into a bottle of lotion and smeared it all over the room. This is a work in progress! :)

Painted Faces

Last Saturday we went to a chili cook-off and flag football activity, and the kids got their faces painted. Some of the scouts told Blair they would get their faces painted if he did it too, so he was a good sport and let them paint his face. I personally thought he would have looked good with a flower or butterfly, but he went with the tough-guy face instead! Oh, and Nate's is a Y for BYU. Go Cougars! :)

Balloon Festival

Last Saturday we went to the Ruby Mountain Balloon Festival. It was AWESOME!!! We occassionally see hot-air balloons flying over our neighborhood early in the morning, but this was way better!! We were able to get right up near the balloons while they were preparing them to take off, and there were tons of them! The kids loved it, and we will definitely go again next year! :)
