Blair's house

Last night we had Kascia and her kids over for Family Night, and we decorated gingerbread houses. We used graham crackers instead of gingerbread because it's much easier. The kids loved it! (or maybe they just loved the candy!) Blair's masterpiece is at the bottom. He's an artist.

Santa Pictures!

Here are the Santa pictures from the ward party the other night. Anna was scared at first, but she finally sat on his knee and told him what she wanted. Nathan, of course, ran straight up to him and gave him a big hug! :)

Ward Christmas Party

My sister-in-law Kascia is visiting her family here in Spring Creek, and she and Asher and Lily came to the party with us. We are so glad they are here!!!

I only took a few pictures at our ward Christmas party last night because my camera batteries died! The theme was A Storybook Christmas. All the tables were decorated based on a different Christmas story (I did The Polar Express but forgot to take a picture!!) and we wore pajamas and had breakfast food. It was so fun! And Santa even came at the end! I will post pictures of the kids with Santa as soon as I get them.

Putting Up the Christmas Tree

Anna and Nate loved helping Blair decorate the tree this year. They also like to rearrange the ornaments several times a day. Good thing most of our ornaments are either cheap or homemade! :)

Birdsitting

During the week of Thanksgiving we watched our neighbors' bird while they were out of town. The kids loved it!! They had to see Chicken first thing in the morning and tell him goodnight at bedtime. As much as we enjoyed having Chicken for the week, we are NOT getting a pet bird. They are loud!!! :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Since Blair was on call Thanksgiving day this year, we stayed home and had our own little Thanksgiving. Blair helped the kids make Indian feather hats out of construction paper. They thought it was the coolest thing ever, and they wore them all day long!! :)
