Time Out for Women

Me & my cousin Joni

Time Out for Women (a conference sponsored by Deseret Book) was in San Antonio this year, so a bunch of us in the ward went and had a great time.

Protective Big Sister

Blair and I work in the nursery at church. The other day Blair had Nathan strapped to him and was sitting on the floor with the kids. Some of the kids were trying to play with Nathan. Anna stood guard and said, "Don't touch!" to anyone who tried to touch her brother. It was so cute!

Guitar Hero

For any of you who have not played this game, you need to try it! It is so fun! Blair especially gets into it when we play.

Day at the Park

We went to the park a few weeks ago for playgroup. It's finally starting to get cool enough here to play outside!! The little boy in the second picture is my friend Melissa's baby. He just turned one, and he is bigger than Anna.

Cowgirl Anna

This must run in the family. At least on the Lybbert side anyway.

Nathan's Looks

Sometimes I'm sure he's just thinking, "How in the world did I end up in this crazy family?!"

Hugs from Big Sister

I'm not so sure Nathan fully appreciates this token of love from his big sister. I think he's trying to push her away.

Brad Paisley!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, so I totally love living here because we get to go to free concerts all the time. Last night we saw Brad Paisley, and he was awesome!!! We went with a group of friends from the ward. Here are a few pictures of our exciting night.

Japanese Tea Garden

My good friend Chenae and her little boy Jackson came to visit us this week, and we went to the Japanese Tea Garden in San Antonio. It was so beautiful, and the kids loved climbing the stairs and watching the fish! (Yes, I know the sign at the top says Chinese Tea Garden, but it has been renamed several times in the past few decades. It is now the Japanese Tea Garden.)

Pears!

I fed Nathan pears for the first time today, and this was his VERY amusing reaction!

Nathan's Big Day

Today we finalized Nathan's adoption. He is officially a Lybbert now!!! Of course, all he cared about was trying to steal Anna's stuffed frog during the picture taking.

Kitchen Sunbathing...or Something...?

I'm not really sure what Anna is doing, but her two buddies Elmo and Mickey (Kiki, as Anna calls him) seem to be enjoying themselves.

Picnic at the Park

We had a barbecue with our friends Dan and Ariana last week, and Anna made friends with Ariana's niece Grace. They had a blast eating and playing together on the playground!

My Family Too

I decided to put this little video clip up because it's really cute, and because it shows several of my family members. There's Grandma Niederhauser and Auntie Erin (on the tramp), Auntie Kristen and (soon to be!) Uncle Craig, Grandpa Niederhauser (mowing), and Auntie Lisa (the hot one making beautiful faces at me).

Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins

Uncle Monty and Bree Ella

Aunt Vina and Nathan

Rain and Nathan

Kjersta and Anna at the San Antonio Riverwalk

Uncle Travis and JaciJane

Aunt Kascia and Asher

Mason and Jed

Kjersta, Aunt Heather, and Grandma Lybbert

These pictures are kind of old, but I wanted to post them anyway. We went to Gainesville back in July to visit Blair's family, and here are some pictures of his crazy (and wonderful) family!!
